More People Are Now Searching for Google Chrome Than Internet Explorer

Hitwise weekly search data seems to suggest that, for the first time, more people in UK searched for Google Chrome than Internet Explorer.


And this is not just happening in the UK. The global figures from Google Trends also show that worldwide traffic for the search term “google chrome” overtook “internet explorer” during that same week.

Google also launched Chrome for Mac and Linux and that probably generated plenty of interest in the Google browser worldwide.
